Summer Home

As I was taking pictures of our apricot tree in full bloom, I noticed this tiny nest in the upper branches -- a hummingbird nest, awaiting the return of our zippy little friends. I think I heard one buzzing around the yard today, which prompted me to track down and start cleaning my hummingbird feeders so I can fill them up ASAP and tempt as many as possible to hang out around my yard.

That's it for now -- sorry for the lack of posts; I'm completely swamped (mostly good stuff) and, of course, as the weather gets warmer I hardly want to hang out on the computer burning daylight....
